Pieter Toerien, Paul Nicholas and David Ian are proud to bring the 2 year running West End production of Grease to South Africa. Grease the Musical - with Book Music and Lyrics by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey - is a spectacular London production, with an entirely South African cast and will be the first full stage production of the musical to be staged in South Africa in 10 years. Opening at Artscape Opera in Cape Town in March 2010 and moving to The Teatro at Montecasino in Johannesburg in April. Grease the musical had its Broadway premiere in 1972 and has triumphed through-out the world. Grease the movie, starring John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John proved to be the highest-grossing movie musical ever, and in 1979 the title of longest running Broadway show belonged to Grease the musical.
