The Von Memertys were excellent, and as a family, were truly an inspiration! Will definitely recommend it to family to see it at Montecasino. Ian has come a long way since I first saw him performing in A Handful Of Keys, and hosting his cabaret style show on SATV some years ago. |

I saw Swan Lake on Ice a couple years back by the same company, and I just knew that I would not want to miss this one!\r\n\r\nCinderella on Ice is just as sensational and more beautiful, and I loved Andrei Penkine as Benno in Swan Lake and now he is absolutely captivating as Prince Charming in the Cinderella on Ice!\r\n\r\nBravo! Superbly made production seamlessly combined exciting athleticism with fine artistry!\r\n\r\nOur admiration must go to the Prince by Andrei Penkine - saw his Benno in Swan Lake on Ice a few years ago, and he is absolutely captivating in this show! |

CATS: It was absolutely stunning. I won\'t describe myself as a \"theatre person\" - normally only stand-up comedy shows etc, but I was in tears at the end of Cats. The actors were excellent and the whole show had a fun and entertaining element. I knew Pieter Toerien was good in what he does, but Cats was really, really extraordinary. I telephoned and booked for "The Isatiables". Got pensioners tickets at 50% discount - first surprise! Was told that the 'dinner' package added R120,00 to the bill so cancelled the idea! To my delight I later received an SMS from Andrew (restaurant manager) announcing a two course pre show dinner for only R55 that included coffee! The menu & quality of the food were exemplary for the very modest price. The service by your waiter Kevin was best we have experienced in ages too. Bravo, we will be back!

Ref your clip on YouTube: Looks like a gorgeous, beautiful production of "Hair", a show that I cherish. So many "Hair" productions on YouTube are so poorly done, and most seem to miss the boat on what the show is really all about. Your short commercial stands out as a valentine to the show, and wonderfully professional. |

I saw CHESS last night. It was fantastic, brilliant, enjoyable ... I can carry on forever. The show is a must see for every theatre lover! We also enjoyed dinner at the Theatre Cafe and the food and service was excellent. Well done! |

Hi Everyone - thank you so much for your wonderful support of Swan Lake on Ice. The season ended on a high note yesterday, with the last week being completely sold out. Unfortunately, when there is a “bum on every seat”, we just don’t have any alternatives for those people who haven’t made a reservation. We can't put extra seats into the auditorium because of the fire regulations, and hanging patrons from the ceiling means that they can’t see the whole stage! So keep an eye on the website for information on the shows that are coming up, as we do open booking well in advance of the season starting. The Ice Stars now move onto a season at the Teatro Montecasino in Johannesburg, and we wish them as much success as they had here in Cape Town! Have a great week! Well kept website Tracy! And you have certainly put on a sparkling show - Swan Lake on Ice. Did not want to say No (don't dare ever) to my girlfriend's invitation to see a ice ballet, but I am so happy I went! Exciting, athletic, spectacular and romantic. Though all the girls in the show are beautifully skilled, it is the male cast impressed me the most! It is so sexy if you can do it like Benno and Rothbart (I would not go so far to try the lift)I may pick up skating soon - you never know! Thank you for bringing in such quality production for us to see in Cape Town! |

We Saw Swan Lake on Ice and it pleased everyone in our family!
Exciting, boyish fun, sporty, and spectacular for my boys, romantic, tender and poetic for us girls.
How can they put fire on ice is beyond us and so beautiful to see Odette really fly into the night sky!

Swan Lake on Ice was beyond description it was so good. We have NEVER enjoyed
ourselves so much at the Artscape.

Well, what can I say! We have just come home from Swan Lake on Ice and are still clapping!!!! STUNNING STUNNING STUNNING!!!
What a show!
Everything from the costumes, to the sets, to the performers, to the music –it was all exquisite!!!

According to trusted source on the company's website, the cast list you have posted here is out of date.
The understydy Odile and Rothbart have been performed by different skaters. The ones you listed here have retired.

Thoroughly enjoyed Ennio on my first visit to TOTB. I was totally prepared to be bored out of my mind, and even catch a few zzzzzz's. But it all left a smile on my dial.
Also utterly impressed by the ambience and cosiness of the theatre. The Artscape will never see me again!
A special thank you to the sound engineer for not trying to deafen me. He has great finesse.

Was invited by a friend to see Ennio last night. AMAZING ! STUNNING ! I hope he plays to packed houses each and every night. A unique show and I got caught up in it - my arms are sore from clapping and I had a great many laughs. From the pictures on this site, it seems he has even more characters to play. Thanks for brining him to South Africa and its a pity I don't know more folk who enjoy Theatre because I really would recommend the Show.
